I Have Blogging Issues!

Ya, I suck at this blogging thing. I keep telling myself I don't have the time but in reality I really do. I get into this rut of putting things off for to long and then I say to myself "Well, no point in talking about it if it happened 3 months ago". So, this post is just mainly a bunch of pictures from the last 8 months or so.
Life hasn't been THAT exciting but we did just get back from the Indy 500 race. WHAT A BLAST!!!! I was fully prepared to go and "get my redneck on"! I know your telling yourself "How can a race that goes around in a circle for 200 laps be any fun?". Well let me tell you! I thought the same thing. I told myself "Awe great, I'm going to be sitting for 4 hours in the sun to watch a bunch of people turn left at 200 miles an hour while hoping the dude behind me doesn't barf up all the beer he has been drinking". I decided that I was going to try and have fun no matter what I thought. Well..................... even before the race started 4 BIG huge guys with their cooler (ya, you can bring coolers to the race......full of beer if ya want) and I thought it was going to be trouble. They turned out to be the NICEST guys! We were high five-ing each other the whole race. After the first couple of really awesome laps I was worried that I might be bored until the final 20 when all the racers would get aggressive but OH MAN, I wasn't bored a single moment. You had racers trying to pass each other and we saw at least 4 wrecks and 1 car catch on fire where we were sitting (the middle of the 4th turn). I'm glad no one was hurt but it was like waiting for a fight watching hockey. So exciting! The racers would whip by you going around 220 miles per hour and they would make these loud buzzing sounds as they passed. Definitely a MUST SEE once in your life. I can't even do it just by explaining it at all. Here are a few pictures from the race!

Well, I don't really know how to work this stupid blog thing using Picasa so bare with me I'm blog-challenged..............

Our view looking at the third turn.

Our view looking at the rest of the fourth turn going towards the finish line straight way.

This is the wreck where the car caught on fire. He hit the wall and drove across the track to the inside. Two race cars almost hit him.

My cute in-laws that took us to the race. THANKS!! WE HAD SUCH AN AWESOME TIME!!!!

Ok, now here are just a few pictures I'm just going to upload on here. The first couple have a great story I wanted to share but procrastinated in telling it............
I had gone to get my toes painted with my mom and sisters and returned to an apartment smelling of rancid poop. As I descended the stairs I quickly noticed that no dogs were in the room so I assumed that one of them had pooped on the floor and were in the bathroom for a time-out. I started calling out to the hubby but I got no answer. Perplexed I started looking around and noticed this on the couch.
I was saying in my head, "Oh my gosh, what happened! Is that poop? Vomit? Is this why the dogs are in trouble?" Then I saw the hubby in the bedroom with this face......................
Um, ya...........that wasn't the dog's mess on the couch. That was "Chuck's" fault. I guess the hubby wasn't paying attention to what he was doing and looked over and "Chuck" was rubbing his butt all over the couch. When he got to him he saw that it was poop(ya, go ahead and scroll back up for a second look) and freaked. He had to shove the dogs in the bathroom so that they wouldn't make it worse and then he had to bath the kid because it was all up his back. SOOOOOOO FUNNY!!!!!!! Best story ever!

Anyhoo, here are a couple of pics from this last year.

"Chuck" fell asleep in his highchair one day. I felt so bad. I was giving him snack and I was browsing the Internet right next to him and when I looked over he was like this.
"Chuck" likes to stick his ears underwater. He likes the noise he hears when we bang our hands on the tub.
"Chuck" and his little cousin "C-man" at Halloween. As we were trick-or-treating the hubby and I thought we should have given "Chuck" some little action figure toys and made it look like blood was coming out of his mouth so he would have been Godzilla instead of a plain ol' dinosaur.

"Chuck's" first birthday.

"Chuck's" cake when he was done. HAHAHA!
Well, that's it for now. Hopefully I can stay on top of things. I have a few trips coming up so I will definitely have RECENT pics to put up. Wish be luck on keeping up with this lol!

Oh, and since I'm not the best of bloggers I haven't decided to do the "go private" thing yet so for now I will at least change everyone's name.

Toodles!

Goodbye September, Hello Craziness!

September was such a relaxing month for us. We first got to spend some time with my in-laws at Disney World. It was so much fun! We got to stay at the Polynesian (which was my first time there) and it had this really awesome pool the hubby loved because it had a slide inside this giant volcano. It was kind of a rush because we only had a few days to spend but "Chuck" did really great! He was such a trooper! I hope we get to go again in December with my parents. Cross your fingers!!!! Here are a few more pics of our Disney adventure!

The hubby, "Chuck" and my MIL. "Chuck" can't stop staring at Mickey.

"Chuck" trying to get fresh with Minnie! He was giving her kisses.

This is at the Sci-Fi Diner. You get to eat in the cars. It's the hubby's favorite place to eat.

"Chuck's" first MICKEY EARS!!!!! These lasted for about 5 minutes on his head haha.

Now that we are at the first of October we have already has 3 birthdays. We have an upcoming camping trip this weekend, plus Halloween and my sister's birthday too. It is now the downward spiral to Christmas. This is always the busiest time of year for us. I hope we make it in one piece!

It's about time!

So I have had this blog for awhile and every time I go to write in it I just seem to stare at the page. I have so many things to write and I have never known where to start. I enjoy reading other blogs so much more! Since it has been like a year of this blank page I have vowed to write in this blog at least every other week. My life is NOT that exciting. My days consist of changing, feeding, and playing with "Chuck". Comedy does not ensue on a daily basis with us. Although I do tend to laugh at "Chuck" a lot for very random things. He is such a funny kid!
So, for the only small few that might read this blog or who just happen to stumble upon it I hope you enjoy my family and what I have to say. I apologize in advance if you read something about "Chuck" feeding the dogs cheerios one week and then my next post is about "Chuck" feeding the dogs cheerios again. It's okay to skip down to the pictures. They are always the best part of blogs!
